Can I Sell On AutoFlip? Check Our Vehicle Criteria Now

Does my car qualify for selling? Find out before you list - it only takes a moment.

Our reviews speak for themselves. Thousands of Kiwi sellers have had a great experience with AutoFlip - and a big part of that is making sure we're the right fit before you go any further.

What our dealers are looking for

After working with hundreds of licensed dealers across New Zealand, we know exactly what gets bids fast. Here's what tends to sell well on AutoFlip:

Value
Dealers are looking for vehicles with genuine market value. It's not about the asking price; it's about what the car is actually worth.

Age
Dealers are typically looking for vehicles less than 20 years old - so model year 2005 or newer.

Kilometres
Most dealers prefer vehicles with fewer than 200,000km on the clock. Higher mileage can make it harder to secure strong offers.

Condition
Your car should be roadworthy and in reasonable condition. A well-maintained vehicle with good service history will always attract stronger interest than one that's been neglected. Heavily damaged or unroadworthy vehicles are unlikely to generate competitive bids through our network.

Brand
Our dealer network is strongest for the most popular makes in New Zealand, including:
Toyota

Subaru

Mitsubishi
Kia
Audi
BMW

Mercedes

Hyundai
MG
Nissan
Mazda

Honda
Mini
Holden
Isuzu
Ford
Lexus
Suzuki
Tesla
Volkswagen
